Many fans and analysts are wondering where the rift between LeBron James and Kyrie Irving started, and now it appears that the reason for their issues may have finally surfaced. While on The Herd on Fox Sports 1, analyst Rob Parker revealed why the two seem to currently be at odds. Parker said, “Kyrie found out that, after they won the championship, LeBron wanted Kyrie traded for Chris Paul. And I think that he found this out, and it cut him deep, and there’s no trust. This makes sense on why Kyrie would want to move on and want to move away from the greatest player on the planet.”
James’ alleged push to get Irving traded for Paul seems like a random shocker, but James and Paul are reportedly close friends who have been looking for an opportunity to play alongside each other. Kyrie Irving recently expressed that he wants to be traded from the Cavaliers to a select handful of teams, including the Knicks and the Miami Heat.
