Rose met with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, but has leaned toward the Cavaliers opportunity, league sources told ESPN. The new deal is a veteran’s minimum of $2.1 million for one year.
Rose was the 2011 NBA MVP but has since suffered severe knee injuries that stifled his career a bit. He has since recovered and has returned to full time preparation for the 2017-18 season.
