Reality Star Is Now Added To The List Of People Kicked Off Flights This Year
Reality TV actress Tommie Lee is in the headlines as the latest incident involving passengers being booted from airplanes.
The “Love & Hip Hop” star is said to have been deplaned over a violation involving alcohol. Tommie is reported to have boarded an aircraft at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport with a glass of wine in her hand. Moments later she was approached by a stewardess who asked her to step off of the plane for disregarding instructions to finish or discard her drink in the terminal. She and the staffer spent 10 minutes going back and forth, before a calm, yet slightly emotional Lee finally complied. Takeoff was delayed 34 minutes over the incident.
A rep for the VH1 star has put out a statement insisting that she in fact was not intoxicated and was simply relaxingMiami-boundmi bound flight, stating that she was kicked off for crying about the recent death of a friend.
