R&B singer Chrisette Michele has had to deal with many backlashes and hatred towards her actions in the past few months, ever since she chose to perform at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration. According to sources, her fanbase declined, social media backlash inclined, her family turned against her, The black community turned against her, and she was dropped from a Netflix series that she was reportedly supposed to be apart of.
As if that didn’t seem to be enough, her shows are canceling left and right too. Michele boasted to social media that her shows were still selling out, even after all the backlash that she’s received. However, news leaked that two of her shows have been canceled along with one show being changed from an official date to “TBA”. It’s easy to question if all of this was worth it to the once loved R&B singer.
