In South Atlanta, four teenagers are now in police custody after leading police on a chase in the Brookhaven area. The teens stole a gray Mercedes-Benz E3550 with an outdated tag that was used in an armed robbery. Police noticed the car and attempted to pull the teens over; however, they resisted and led police on a chase. The APD officers called for backup and the Georgia State Patrol responded and chased the vehicle. The chase ended at the intersection of Langhorn and Westview. Another APD officer working on another scene near the accident followed the stolen Mercedes-Benz crashed into three other cars in a result of the chase. As the officer was pulling away from the accident, he hit a GSP trooper vehicle as well. The APD officer had minor cuts and bruises and was transported to the hospital. Everyone involved in the accident is expected to be OK. All four suspects are in custody and charged with multiple traffic violations.
