A REPORTER TRIED TO INSULT SERENA, ONLY TO BE CHECKED REAL QUICK!
Serena Williams felt no need to hold back when she feels insulted. During yesterday’s post-match press conference, The reporter called Williams last match “very scrappy.” The reporter specifically stated, “Looked a little bit of a scrappy performance,” he said. Williams immediately stood up for herself, not wanting to hear any type of rude or unnecessary talk coming her way. Williams stated, “Oh I think that’s a very negative thing to say, are you serious?” The reporter came back with the statement, “Just my observation.”
But of course, Serena wasn’t going to stop there, “Well, you should have been out there,” she hit back. “That wasn’t very kind. You should apologize. Do you want to apologize?” The reporter immediately apologized of course, as I’m sure he felt very embarrassed. Williams backed up her statement by saying, “It’s not an easy match.”
Long story short, don’t mess with the queen of tennis!
