ATLANTA TOPS HOUSTON FOR MOST GUNS BROUGHT THROUGH TSA
The TSA reported that the number of guns confiscated at U.S. airports continues to climb and our region is well represented. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International had the most confiscated guns in 2016 with 198 guns total, blowing their previous record out the water.
Dallas, Texas and Houston, Texas airports placed 2nd and 3rd, and in total, the number of confiscations rose 28% across the country in 2016.
