THESE EVENTS EVEN CHANGED HOW HE VIEW LIFE NOW!!

After the release of Trap or Die 3, Jeezy has been everywhere doing interviews promoting the album.

Jeezy has been in the rap game for over ten years and he has first hand seen the changes in the rap scene in Atlanta. What really blew him away was the passing of both Shawty Lo and Bankroll Fresh in the same year.

In an interview with Hot New Hip-Hop, Jizzle talked about his “All There” video which features a verse from the late Bankroll Fresh. “D Rich and Bankroll were the closet thing to me and Shawty Redd that I’ve ever seen,” said Jeezy about Bankroll and his producer. Jeezy also went on to say, “When I saw what D Rich and Bankroll was doing, maybe a week before he passed, I asked them to come sit down so I could mentor them and help them get that shit to the next level. It’s sad to say but a week after that he passed.”

This was a blow to Jeezy and he said that the video is a tribute for Bankroll, which is why he had his mother, grandmother, nephews, friends, and did the shoot in Bankroll’s hood.

Shawty Lo and Jeezy actually knew each other way before they both started to get into rapping. “It was crazy I knew Shawty Lo way before I knew he rapped. We did a couple things in the streets together, and that’s how I met him.”

Lo’s death really hit Jeezy hard and even changed how he looked at life and the fact that you could be gone at any minute. He even takes the time to show love to his friends before they depart. “I’m grown but where we come from we don’t say we love each other. But I aint got no problem telling my homies that now. I love you nigga, be safe.”
