{BEESTROH LIVE 945} JUDGE DEMANDS N.F.L. TO REVEAL CONCUSSION SECRETS

THE N.F.L. IS IN HOT WATER, AND STREETZ KNOWS WHY!

The N.F.L. has put a lot of energy into keeping the concussion issue a secret over the years, but the truth is about to be revealed.

Jeffery Oing, a New York judge, has just issued an order that will allow insurance companies to investigate whether or not the league know about the dangers of concussions and if these dangers were purposely kept under wraps.

The N.F.L. will more than likely appeal the ruling made by Justice Oing.

The outcome of the investigation will determine if the insurers will pay for a settlement brought by over 5,000 retired football players who claim that the N.F.L. did not inform them about the risks associated with repeated hits to the head. They are also accusing the league of fraud and negligence.

The settlement has been completed, but it is currently under appeal. The N.F.L. has agreed to pay an unlimited amount of damages to those players who have been diagnosed with neurological diseases. The amount could reach up to $1 billion.

Lawyers did not get a chance to look over the N.F.L. records to determine if fraud was committed before the settlement was reached.

The league asked the insurers to pay for the debt since they wrote the polices, but they refused due to the questions surrounding the fraud issue.

Neither party has commented on the subject.
