The legendary 90s west coast rapper Coolio avoided jail time yesterday from previously facing up to three years in state prison for possession of a firearm by a felon. This stemmed from a legal woes that happened on September 17 at LAX in which TSA discovered a stolen, loaded gun in a bag eventually determined to be his own. He was sentenced to just 3 years of probation and ordered to 45 days of community service. Coolio has now been banned from carrying and owning a firearm during this time and on the lighter side as a condition to his sentence Coolio will have a chance to reduce his charge down to the misdemeanor if he stays on his best behavior.
