Billboard.com reports that all of Prince’s unreleased music that was found at his untimely death is being shopped to all three major labels Universal, Sony and Warner for a hefty $35 million dollars. Billboard also cites that “sources close to the situation” which was Prince’s court-appointed manager’s of his estate set the price point for the valuable music. So far, the contents of the collection have yet to be revealed, leaving major questions as to whether any of the labels to which Prince was signed might have a claim to material the artist created under contract.

Also there have been rumor reports of a deluxe edition of the iconic album “Purple Rain” to be release in 2017 by Warner Bros.  In an older interview, Chairman and CEO Cameron Strang stated: “I definitely discussed it with Prince. At times he toyed with doing something with it and maybe worked on it, but he considered Purple Rain a masterpiece, and I think he liked it the way it was.”
