San Francisco 49er’s Colin Kaepernick responds to ESPN’s Trent Dilfer after Dilfer says:
“Kaepernick is a backup QB whose job is to be quiet and sit in the shadows”
Dilfer’s comment came after Kaepernick’s protest of the national anthem have been the source of media attention. Kaepernick responds to Dilfer’s comment Monday stating:
“The most ridiculous comment I’ve heard. I would ask him to really have a conversation with the families of people that have been murdered and see if he still feels that way.”
Since the start of the protest, Safety Eric Reid knelt with Kaepernick on Monday night’s game, while teammates Antoine Bethea and Eli Harold raised a fist.
