Tuesday Night at 10pm EST, Donald Glover premiered his new hit show, “Atlanta”. The critics are raving about this strong depiction of what life is really like for Atlanta natives. Filmed on location in the city, Glover used familiar faces and scenery to fully represent the city he grew up in.
In addition to writing and executive producing, Glover stars as Earnest Marks, a young, underemployed man looking to break free from the rut he’s in and to accomplish something he’s passionate about. As Earn rode around the city and shouted Atlanta specific locations out, like Jimmy Crickets, American Deli, and Peachtree St.
