The NBA has officially released the new schedule, and the Atlanta Hawks have plenty of must-see matchups coming to State Farm Arena this season! Atlanta opens the year October 21 on the road against the Orlando Magic, followed by a trip to Charlotte before the home opener against the Houston Rockets on Saturday, October 24.
👀 KEY GAMES TO WATCH:
🔥 Oct. 24: Home Opener vs. Houston Rockets
🔥 Nov. 6: Trae Young returns to Atlanta with the Washington Wizards
🔥 Nov. 9: Los Angeles Lakers visit Atlanta
🔥 Jan. 18: Hawks host LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers for the annual MLK Day Game
🔥 Plus major matchups against the New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and other top teams throughout the season.
The Hawks will also have 10 nationally televised games, while standard weekday home games will now generally tip off at 7 p.m., moving up from the previous 7:30 p.m. start time.
Atlanta will compete in East Group C of the Emirates NBA Cup alongside Washington, Boston, Chicago and Charlotte. Like every NBA team, the Hawks currently have 80 of their 82 regular-season games set, with the final two determined by NBA Cup results.
