ATLANTA — Migos fans could be getting new music sooner than expected.
Quavo says the upcoming Migos album with Offset is nearly finished, marking another major step in the group’s return following the death of Takeoff in 2022.
During a recent interview, Quavo revealed that he and Offset have been working on the project and suggested January could be an important month for the rollout. However, an official release date has not yet been announced.
The project is expected to represent a new chapter for Migos rather than simply continuing the group’s popular Culturealbum series. Quavo and Offset have also discussed plans for a tour connected to the reunion.
The album carries additional significance because it follows years of uncertainty surrounding the future of Migos. Quavo and Offset have repaired their relationship and returned to making music together while continuing to honor Takeoff’s legacy.
Migos became one of Atlanta’s most successful hip-hop groups with hits including “Bad and Boujee,” “T-Shirt,” “Stir Fry” and “Walk It Talk It.”
For now, fans will have to wait for an official title, tracklist and release date, but Quavo’s latest update suggests the next Migos chapter is getting closer.
