AUSTELL, GA — Halloween season is getting an early start in metro Atlanta as Fright Fest returns to Six Flags Over Georgia with a new collection of haunted attractions, scare zones and live entertainment.
The annual Halloween celebration will take place across 22 select nights from September 12 through November 1, giving thrill-seekers nearly two months to experience the park after dark. This year’s lineup includes 13 haunted experiences, mixing brand-new concepts with several returning fan favorites.
Five New Attractions Join the Lineup
Six Flags is introducing five new experiences for the 2026 season, including Finklestein’s House of Fun, Infestation, Dreadwell Brothers Carnival of Curiosities, Nevermore and The Mare.
The expanded lineup includes two new premium haunted mazes, two scare zones and a new live show, adding even more horror-themed entertainment throughout the park.
Popular Horror Franchises Return
Movie fans will also recognize some familiar names. The Conjuring Universe attraction returns with an experience inspired by the supernatural franchise and its collection of cursed artifacts.
SAW: Legacy of Terror is also returning, bringing scenes and terrifying traps inspired by the popular horror movie series to life.
Other returning Fright Fest attractions include Camp Slasher, Disciples of the Beast, Rockville Festival of Fright, The Rotted Ones, Dr. Fright’s Deadman’s Party and The Awakening.
Family-Friendly Halloween Fun During the Day
The Halloween celebration isn’t limited to guests looking for scares. Six Flags Over Georgia will also offer Tricks & Treats on Saturdays and Sundays from September 12 through November 1.
The daytime event is designed with families and younger visitors in mind, featuring activities such as trick-or-treating, costume contests, character meet-and-greets and children’s entertainment before the scarier nighttime experiences begin.
With haunted mazes, live entertainment, scare zones and family-friendly activities all returning, Six Flags Over Georgia is preparing to transform the park into one of metro Atlanta’s biggest Halloween destinations for the 2026 season.
