UNITED STATES — Pumpkin spice season is officially back at Starbucks. The coffee chain’s famous Pumpkin Spice Latte returns Tuesday, August 25, as part of its nationwide 2026 fall menu launch.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte, commonly known as the PSL, will once again be available hot, iced or blended. The seasonal favorite combines Starbucks espresso and steamed milk with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove flavors before being topped with whipped cream and pumpkin-pie spices.
This year’s fall menu goes well beyond the classic PSL. Returning favorites include the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, while Starbucks is adding several new pumpkin options, including the Iced Pumpkin Cream Shaken Espresso, Pumpkin Spice Chai and Iced Pumpkin Cream Matcha.
Starbucks is also introducing some new flavors for customers looking beyond pumpkin. The lineup includes Iced Banana Bread Latte and Iced Banana Bread Chai, along with a new drink called the Chaider, which combines chai with apple cider-inspired flavors.
Pecan-flavored drinks are also making a comeback, including the Pecan Cortado, Iced Pecan Crunch Latte and Pecan Crunch Latte. The seasonal food menu will feature the returning Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin alongside new offerings such as the Hedgehog Cake Pop and Chicken Bacon Protein Pocket.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte has become one of Starbucks’ most recognizable seasonal products since its debut more than two decades ago. Its annual return has become an unofficial kickoff to fall for many customers, despite arriving weeks before the official start of autumn.
Starbucks is also marking the 2026 PSL season with limited-edition merchandise and a promotional campaign featuring Martha Stewart.
The complete fall menu begins arriving at participating Starbucks locations August 25, giving pumpkin spice fans another reason to start celebrating fall a little early.
