Yung Miami is speaking out again about her past disagreement with Tyla over the song “Chanel.” The former City Girls rapper previously claimed Tyla took inspiration from her unreleased track “Take Me To Chanel” after Miami says she played the song for her.
Tyla recently denied intentionally copying Miami’s concept, explaining that while she remembers hearing several of Miami’s songs during a studio gathering, she doesn’t remember hearing that particular track. Tyla said her own “Chanel” came to her months later through a songwriter and also made it clear she has love for Yung Miami.
During a new interview with Complex, Miami addressed Tyla’s explanation and continued to stand by her belief that Tyla heard the idea from her first. Despite the disagreement, the situation appears to be more of a difference in perspective than an escalating feud.
