Atlanta, GA – August 5, 2026 — Streetz 94 5, in partnership with Tommy’s Express Car Wash, and A Grandmother’s Love, Inc, A Nonprofit Organization, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Summer Reading Rush initiative. The six-week promotional program was designed to spark a passion for literacy and academic engagement among youth ages 12 to 17.
Throughout the program, participants were challenged to read selected books weekly and submit detailed reports adhering to specific academic criteria. The community response was overwhelming, resulting in over 100 total submissions. Following a rigorous review process, 50 dedicated students consistently met all weekly criteria to advance to the final judging round.

To celebrate their hard work and dedication, the top three standout young readers were awarded cash prizes to support their future educational goals:
- 1st Place ($1,000): Chloe Maddox
- 2nd Place ($750): Sir’Br-shard Williams
- 3rd Place ($500): Joseph Gantt (not shown)

Building on this year’s success, Streetz 94 5/Core Radio Group hopes to continue its valued partnership with A Grandmother’s Love Nonprofit and Tommy’s Express Car Wash to expand youth literacy programs in the community for years to come.
