Luggage of Love Returns to Support Youth in Foster Care Across Metro Atlanta

0
ATLANTA, GA — The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Greater Atlanta will host its annual Luggage of Love community drive on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fulton County Juvenile Court.
The initiative supports youth in foster care by providing new luggage and backpacks-replacing trash bags and temporary carriers often used during placement transitions. This effort helps restore dignity, comfort, and a sense of stability for youth navigating uncertain circumstances.
During the 2025 event, the community donated 674 pieces of luggage, benefiting youth in the custody of the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services across Fulton and DeKalb counties. Organizers aim to expand that impact in 2026.
