POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAN WHO FIRED SHOTS IN A BEST BUY
Police are searching for a shooter who shot a firearm inside a busy Douglas County store.
The shots were discharged inside a Best Buy around 12:30 p.m. Monday at the area along Douglas Boulevard in Douglasville. They are investigating whether the shots were intended to distract workers. One client revealed to Jones when she pulled up, she saw a man wildly running from the store.
I pulled up to him and stated, ‘What was the problem? Why are you running?’ And he stated, ‘There’s a shooter.'”
The police chief told Jones the gunfire came from the back of the store. Investigators found holes where it showed the rounds landed.
