Taraji P. Henson voices her support for allowing Jussie Smollett to return because, “…we started with him, we should finish with him.”
Henson is rooting for her old coworker and wants him to return as the final season of the show is coming to an end. Fans have been questioning whether or not the final episode will feature the actor. The network has been clear in their decision to not allow him to return to the show. The president states that he hopes the controversy surrounding Smollett will not overshadow the success of the show.
Smollett was removed from the cast of Empire last year after he was allegedly accused of faking a hate crime against himself.
