Police say they have caught the man who they say shot a woman and ran off after the two got into an argument. The shooting happened at a home along Racetrack Road in McDonough around 1 p.m. Thursday .
Investigators told Channel 2’s Tom Jones that the man shot the woman as she attempted to leave the home.
She eventually was able to drive away, but police said the woman got into a wreck with two other cars. That woman was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for her injuries. Two other drivers ended up with minor injuries from the wreck.
Police set up a perimeter around a wooded area along Racetrack Road as they searched for the shooter.
