Three individuals including a well-known artist were hospitalized after an early morning shooting on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade Wednesday. Florida Highway Patrol authorities state the shooting occurred close to the on-ramp to I-95 from Miami Gardens Drive around 4 a.m. As indicated by authorities, a Honda with three individuals inside was drawn closer by a Chevy that pulled up and opened fire. A white Honda was spotted with bullet holes on the passenger door window and windshield. Officials said a white Chevrolet sedan drove alongside the Honda and began shooting approximately six or seven rounds into the car. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the three victims to Aventura Hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. The driver was shot in the right arm. The front passenger was shot in the right arm and the rear passenger was shot in the hand. Santana’s talent manager said the performer was with friends when they were targeted in what may have been a random drive-by shooting. “Saucy Santana wants to thank everyone for the calls and support,” K Daniel Talent Management said in a statement.
