In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, New York rapper Troy Ave tells Charlamagne Tha God he feels like “New Pac.”
The statement was in result of The Breakfast Club asking Troy Ave about his reputation in the streets after the shooting he was involved in a few months back that resulted in the death of his bodyguard/friend. Ave claims he’s been receiving love and that people say that he is the second coming of 2pac. “I go in the mothaf*** clubs and n***as goin’ crazy,” says Troy. “Oh sh*t, that’s Troy Ave, ni**a it’s the second coming of 2pac, it’s NewPac.”
Charlamagne asked Troy Ave how he would avoid going out like 2pac in a second shooting. Troy ave response was to “take precautions.” It seems like he is following through with his own advice because ever since being release from the hospital, he has been rocking a bulletproof vest beneath and on top on what he is wearing.
