In 2020 Steve Harvey will be reviving his talk show!
However, the legendary comedian is taking a different route and turning to streams. Harvey will be joining Jada Pickett Smith’s “Red Table Talk” on Facebook Watch with a show called “Steve on Watch”. Harvey has already taped a few episodes for the new production and filming for the revived show has been taking place at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
This serves as exciting news for Harvey and his fans due to the fact that the host lost two NBC jobs this year, including his critically acclaimed daytime talk show as well as “Little Big Shots”.
In an official statement regarding the new show, Harvey says:
“Reaching my audience anywhere and everywhere they are has always been the goal,” Harvey said. “Facebook Watch viewers are the most energetic, engaged community, and so are my amazing fans. Getting all those people to directly engage on a platform like this is the perfect evolution of the show.”
“Steve on Watch” will premiere on January 6th.
