The felony extortion charge against the ex-best friend of Kevin Hart, J.T. Jackson, have been officially dropped. The Los Angeles District Attorney filed documents Friday, explaining that prosecutors did not have evidence to convict the part-time actor with the criminal charge. In their filing, the D.A states that upon reviewing the evidence it did not fit the bill for extortion. The demand for 5 million dollars was made on various blogs and under an Instagram post, but never directly to Kevin Hart or his team. From extortion to sex tape charges and most recently the car accident; Kevin Hart has been active in the headlines.
