RIHANNA NAVY MAY BE GETTING AN ALBUM AFTER ALL
Rihanna has officially signed a deal with Sony/ATV. It is reportedly a publishing deal that consists of her entire music catalog, including all of her Hot 100 top 10s, such as “Love on the Brain” and her number 1s like “Rude Boy” and “Work.”
Rihanna hasn’t released any new music since she was featured on N.E.R.D’s “Lemon” single, last year so it looks like we could be getting a Rihanna album after all.
Jon Platt, the chairman, and CEO of Sony/ATV Music said that he’s proud to have known Rihanna since the beginning of her career and that music, fashion, philanthropy and a heart of gold solidified Rihanna’s position as one of the biggest icons in the world. He considers her accepting the publishing deal as an honor and he is happy to be reunited with her at Sony/ATV.
