The new netflix series, “When They See Us,” debuted this weekend and there was a lot of backlash was thrown at the prosecutor of the case and author, Linda Fairstein. Many people are now using the hashtag #CancelLindaFairstein. They are now calling for Fairstein’s book collection to be pulled from their shelves.
Fairstein has now been dragged on social media making her delete almost everything. Raymond Santana, one of the teenagers convicted on the crime and then later exonerated, said he fully supports the boycott of Fairstein’s books.
