LOVE & HIPHOP LOST YET ANOTHER CAST MEMBER!!
Tokyo Vanity is the latest cast member to quit the Love & HipHop franchise. According to Tokyo, production edited her storyline for this upcoming season in a way that alledgedly “fat shames” her. The reality star is displeased with how they are presenting her struggles with weight lose by relating it to unrelated health issues. For instance, Toyko got into a car accident that caused her to have knee pains, but in her storyline her knee injury is said to be related to her size. It started after Toyko and her friend Shekinah Jo had a conversation expressing their issues with losing weight. The show then began to frame Tokyo’s storyline behind her alleged weight problem and health issues. According to reports, Tokyo wrote to VH1 telling them she won’t be back next season. It’s unsure whether she will continue filming for the current upcoming season.
