Jamal Lyon returns to Empire???
According to Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett still has got him a job. She says Smollett is scheduled to return to “Empire”, but that’s only if it formally gets the green light for season 6.
On Thursday, Joy Behar asked Taraji on “The View” if Smollett was gonna be on Empire next season – which is currently on pause. Taraji kept it real saying, “Yes. I haven’t heard anything else.”
Taraji stated, “I talk to Jussie all the time. And he’s doing well.” She went on to say “We’re all doing well. The show is doing well. We’re on hiatus right now. The writers are trying to figure out what the next season is going to look like, what our storyline is going to be. They’re trying to drum up some really good stuff for you guys.”
The fifth season of “Empire” just finished last week but it’s not official if there will be a season 6.
As you know … prosecutors dropped Jussie’s case.
