CONGRATS J. COLE!

Cole’s been on an intense run over the past year. K.O.D came as a shock for many of his fans but the fact that he didn’t go back into hiding after the project’s release was even more surprising. He dished out a ton of collaborations, many of them unexpected, with some of the hottest rappers in the game. He kicked off the year with the release of his single, “Middle Child” which has now hit platinum status. Cole adds another plaque to his collection with “Middle Child.” The track — produced by Cole & T-Minus– has finally been certified platinum. The track has been maintaining a steady momentum on streaming services and on the Billboard charts. This week, it maintains a position in the top 10 on the Hot 100 at number 6.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether the song will land on a future Cole project or if it’ll make its way onto Revenge Of The Dreamers III but either way, we’re never going to oppose new music from J. Cole.

Cole performed “Middle Child” as his opening song during the half-time show at the NBA All-Star game in February, along with a string of other hits. His contributions to the All-Star game went past his performance; he gave an assist to Dennis Smith Jr. during the dunk contest before attempting at dunking himself.
