Recently, another high blood pressure medication has been recalled from the market after a cancer-causing substance was detected in a batch of tablets. The FDA says, Macleods Pharmaceuticals is voluntarily recalling one lot of 100 mg/25 Losartan Potassium/Hydrochlorothiazide tablets. Unexpected N-nitrosodiethylamine (NDEA), was found in the product causing the recall to happen.
Lot ‘BLM715A’ is the exact batch being recalled.
