One China Airline pilot is in a serious dilemma after falling asleep in the middle of a flight! The 20-year vet pilot Weng Jiaqi is actually the senior of the airline company so his career is now in jeopardy after his co-pilot caught him napping on video. He’s also a flight instructor and is in charge of simulations. His colleagues were not so thrilled after hearing of the careless act.
“Fatigue is inevitable. But as a senior officer, the pilot should have set a good example for his subordinates.” an unnamed China Airlines pilot stated during an interview.
Not only is he in trouble but his co-pilot is in hot water for deciding to film him napping rather than taking the initiative to wake him up.
