Rapper Blueface was charged with the possession of a loaded, unregistered handgun.
Blueface’s charges stem from a prior arrest on February 1, 2019. Before the gun was found by the authorities, the presence of LAPD caused several of Blueface’s associates to leave the scene, leaving many firearms that belonged to them. Despite Blueface’s team insisting the gun wasn’t his, the 22-year-old artist and two other men were arrested due to the incident. Now, he is facing a felony charge that carries a maximum three-year prison sentence.
These charges came right before Blueface is due in court for another gun case making the situation worse. In November 2018, Blueface was allegedly involved in a robbery and vehicle-to-vehicle shootout. During the shootout, the car that Blueface was in crashed into the median. He was then arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. This felony has since been reduced to a misdemeanor gun possession holding a potential penalty of a year in jail. Blueface pleaded not guilty in December.
