After the details of Tekashi69’s plea were made public knowledge, it appears that 6ix9ine may have cut a sweet deal with prosecutors. Tekashi plead guilty to 9 counts in his Racketeering case, and was looking at a minimum of 47 years in prison, but due to his cooperation, he will likely serve much less time.
At this moment, it is still unclear how much time he will have to serve, as his sentencing is set for January 2020, which is still a long while away.
According to the transcripts from his plea deal, 6ix9ine agreed to cooperate and reveal the criminal activities of the individuals he was once involved with, during the time that he was an alleged gang member of the Nine Trey Bloods.
Upon his release, it is also very likely that he will have no choice but to enter into witness protection, in an effort to not only protect himself from imminent danger, but also his family.
