Jermaine Dupri announces free concerts in Atlanta during the week of the big game.
Last week Jermaine Dupri was featured on “The Real” Daytime show. During his interview he was asked about his opnion on the half time show going to Maroon 5 rather than an artist that is from Atlanta or even the state of Georgia sense this is where the big game will be held. Dupri states that he doesn’t think they thought it through, being that there are so many extremely popular artists from atlanta who could have performed. In light of the situation, Jermaine mentioned the fact that he is holding FREE concerts during the week of the big game with all Georgia Artists performing. The artists will be of all genres including country, EDM, and rap artists. He stated that Dj Holiday is going to be curating Saturday night Feburary the 26th which is forseen to be crazy lit with twenty rappers on the line up. The concert is open to the public the and free of charge the whole week and he encourages everyone to come out and have a great time.
He was also asked about his new upcoming season of “The Rap Game” which is now in its fifth season. He is asked why he likes to start with new artists when they’re young in age and he responded that all the artists he’s worked with have turned into big stars after working with them at a young age to help grow their careers such as Usher, Da Brat, Xscape and many more.
