Adrien “About Billions” Broner is focused and ready.
Young Adrien Broner had a very busy Monday yesterday: Two court appearances in two states for two separate accusations of sexual misconduct, one of them being here in Atlanta.
Broner, 29, was scheduled to appear in a hearing at Cleveland’s Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, where he faced various charges regarding sexual misconduct and abduction after an incident where Broner allegedly began to forcibly kiss a woman, media reports.
Sources also report that Broner’s attorney was expected to attend the hearing in Cleveland to allow him to appear in our beautiful city of Atlanta, where the Cincinnati native was booked last year in February on a sexual battery charge after a woman told police she was “inappropriately groped” by the boxer, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“I didn’t touch that girl,” Broner told WSB-TV as he left Fulton County Jail. “She wanted to take a picture and I didn’t want to take a picture.”
If convicted on all the separate charges he faces, Broner could face up to almost a decade in prison. He’s set to bout the brakes off against Manny Pacquiao for the WBA welterweight championship in Las Vegas on Jan. 19.
Just four days later, Broner is also scheduled to appear at a courtroom in Florida, where he’s facing charges for failing to appear in court on traffic violations, sources report.
