HERE’S AN UPDATE ON THE BOTHAM JEAN KILLER
A Dallas County grand jury recently indicted former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger on murder charges following the shooting death of 26-year-old Botham Jean. Guyger was originally arrested on September 9 when she was charged with manslaughter. After a week of reviewing the evidence, however, the grand jury upped the stakes.
Prior to news of the indictment, former Dallas County prosecutor Pete Schulte made the point that an indictment was more than likely be for murder than manslaughter. He told the Dallas Observer, “I don’t think there’s any in-between. At the time the force was used — because that’s what we look at in all criminal cases, whether it’s a police officer or anybody else — when the force was used, her intent was an act clearly dangerous to human life. She fired a gun in the direction of a person she knew was standing in front of her.”
I wonder how many years she going to get sentenced
