On Tuesday, Bill Cosby’s judge, Judge Steven T. O’Neill, rejected Bill Cosby’s request for a new trial, although, O’Neill did grant Cosby’s team permission to redirect the trial to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
Joseph P. Green, Cosby’s former attorney, asked for a new trial after he claimed that the prosecution didn’t prove that the assault happened within the 12-year statute of limitations. Green is also claiming that the tape recording that was used as evidence had been tampered with.
Cosby’s wife, Camille is claiming that this rejection is “corrupt”.
