MONEY TALK!
The Mega Millions jackpot jumped from $868 million to a record $900 million.
Georgia Lottery officials said the $32 million bump was due to “brisk sales” after the jackpot rolled over from Tuesday night’s $667 million drawing.
According to Georgia Lottery: “The MegaMillions jackpot bumped from $868M to a whopping $900M. The largest in Mega Millions history & the 2nd largest in U.S. history!
No one matched all six winning numbers in the drawing — 69, 45, 61, 3 and 49 with MegaBall 9. However, a $1 million winning ticket was purchased in Macon, according to officials.
The $345 million Powerball jackpot is up for grabs Wednesday. It has rolled over 18 times since Aug. 15.
With both jackpots not yet claimed, Georgia risk takers have a chance at a combined $1.2 billion.
You can watch the Powerball drawing Wednesday at 11 p.m. and the Mega Millions drawing at the same time on Friday.
Tickets for both lotteries cost $2 to play.
GOOD LUCK!
