S&S IS OFFICALLY CLOSED!
The family owned dining institution known for its Southern cooking has closed its last metro Atlanta location.
S&S opened at 2002 Campbellton Road in 1968.
Sunday was the final day of service.
Since the restaurant announced the closure, longtime patrons have poured into the cafeteria or stood in the take-out line to feast for the last time.
Diners said they will miss the S&S cafeteria
