At 11 pm a security guard was found shot in the head and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Eventually, the victim, 30-year-old Scott Marthone ended up dying. He was shot in the head behind the LoudHouse studio. Investigators feel the security guard was targeted.
Lt. Andrea Webster says,“The victim was targeted and he was apparently the only one there that we have located,”. “We have not found any witnesses as yet.”
His family was shocked and heartbroken to hear the news. Tahlik Woodall, his brother said “I just feel like they killed him for no reason,” .“Like how do you kill someone for doing their job? We just miss him.”
Officers are still looking for suspects. The police impounded cars that can possibly connect to this case. They hope to find something on surveillance cameras.
