The ongoing case of Meek Mill’s non violent drug charge still continues. This time it continued with a heated debate. after Meek Mill’s lawyers debated with Judge Brinkley as she showcased laughter within the court room.
According to sources Meek arrived in court on Monday for a hearing to decide if he’ll get a new trial. Although his legal team were baffled by Judge Brinkley’s demeanor describing it to be “an asylum” Sources were able to obtain the transcript of the exchange between Brinkley and a witness from Meek’s team where she apparently ridiculed him in the court room.
According to documentation Meek’s lawyers, Joe Tacopina, Brian McMonagle and Peter Goldberg believe Brinkley laughed while one of their key witnesses, Bradley Bridge, was on the stand. Bridge is a public defender who’s worked on more than 1,000 cases similar to Meek’s.
The exchange went down after McMonagle brought up the situation. It’s unclear when this case will close but Meek and his legal team are looking into resolutions quickly.
