The third single off of Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy album, “Be Careful,” just peaked at No. 7 in its eighth week on Billboard’s hip-hop chart, and there’s a good chance it will continue rising with a new video on the way. Cardi is sure hoping that will be the case, if for nothing else because it wasn’t an easy video to produce.
The night before its Monday (May 21) release, Cardi hopped on social media with a video that she pulls into TMI territory while detailing what made the process so difficult. “It was one of the hardest videos I ever did because it was in the desert, like in the middle of nowhere, and b***h, I was so hot,” she said.
At this point in her pregnancy, Cardi has gone through all of the motions that come with carrying a baby. She is due sometime in July, and recently decided to hang up her performance shoes because of the strain her belly is putting on her body. The shoot for “Be Careful” may have happened weeks ago, but she none-the-less still had to deal with the frustration of working out under the desert sun with a bulge protruding from her midsection.
“My pregnant motherf**king a**, like, I never sweat, and I was sweating that day,” says Cardi. “Like, my underarms were sweating. Like, under my t*tties. I never get under t*tty sweat, but that day – for sure!”
