I-20 eastbound was shut down in all lanes, early yesterday morning. They reopened hours after the deadly accident, leaving one person dead and at least six people were taken to the hospital. The three-car accident happened just before 4am Tuesday and left the interstate shut down for more than four hours. Lanes opened backup around 8am. The victim killed in the crash was Demetrius Cotton, 31, of Atlanta. Cotton was involved in a head on collision with another driver. Police found a large bag of marijuana ad two guns in the car after the accident.
