The CBS46 Bulldog learned exclusively that a small handful of high-level Atlanta City Hall officials either never cashed their controversial bonus checks, or returned them this week.
It’s the latest twist in the scandal sweeping Atlanta City Hall, involving more than $500,000 in bonuses that were paid out by former Mayor Kasim Reed in the last days of his administration.
Each received $10,000 in that bonus giveaway.
More than 30 others staffers took the money and ran.
