Kodak Black believes the time he is serving in jail has served a higher purpose in his life.

“First and foremost I want to thank the lord for this blessing in disguise which was sending me back to jail January 18 2018,” captioned the photo of the young rapper. “Second I want to thank the lord again for using my advocate Bradford Cohen ( @lawronin ) as an instrument to speak through him and work diligently on my behalf.”

On Tuesday, the rapper received good news as his potential 12-year sentence for violating parole was cut to a 364-day sentence. According to reports, Kodak, who has served 90 days thus far, is expected to be released inOctober if he remains under good behavior.
