NICKI MINAJ WILL PERFORM WHILE TINA FEY HOSTS FOR THE “SNL” SEASON FINALE ON MAY 12TH
Nicki Minaj is back and action and it seems as if even her biggest critics are ecstatic about her return to the rap game. Last week, she made her returns with two new singles, “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” which found the Queens MC back to her mixtape form and proving to everyone why he’s one of the hardest rappers in the game, regardless of her gender. To solidify her return, she’ll be closing out this season of SNL with a special performance.
Nicki Minaj will be performing on Saturday Night Live on May 12th with Tina Fey scheduled to host the season finale. It’s definitely going to be a solid episode and we can only expect her to perform atleast one of her new singles. This will mark her fifth appearance as a performer on the show. She’s performed by herself in 2011 and 2015 while showing up during Drake and The Weeknd’s set as well.
At this point, it’s safe to believe that she’ll be rolling out her album in the near future. If this is anything like Cardi B’s role out with Invasion Of Privacy, it seems likely that she’ll end up releasing the project right before her appearance on SNL. Hopefully, we’ll also get to see Nicki’s chops come out during her episode as well.
In addition to her appearance on SNL, she was also nominated for the Top Female Rap Act at the Billboard Music Awards where she’ll be going up against Bhad Bhabie and Cardi B for the award.
