Cardi B’s statement about former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had Bernie Sanders on her side.
Cardi put her thoughts in on Social Security during an interview with GQ. She told the magazine that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was “the real ‘Make America Great Again,’ because if it wasn’t for him, old people wouldn’t even get Social Security.”
Sanders tweeted a response to Cardi’s quote, agreeing that America needs to strengthen social security.
“Cardi B is right. If we are really going to make America great we need to strengthen Social Security so that seniors are able to retire with the dignity they deserve.” Bernie Sanders said.
It looks like Cardi’s support team gets bigger everyday.
